Brooke Davis (Australia)
Brooke Davis works as a writer and bookseller. She has PhD from Curtin University in creative writing. Her 2014 internationally best-selling debut novel Lost & Found was published in 27 countries, and won two ABIAs for General Fiction and New Writer of the Year, as well as the WA Premier’s Award for Emerging Writer. Lost & Found was also shortlisted for the Indie Book of the Year Debut Fiction Award and the ABA Bookseller Choice award. Davis grew up in Bellbrae, Victoria, has lived in Florida, Halifax, Canberra, Perth, and now resides in Torquay, Victoria. Her new novel No One’s Looking (Hachette, 2026) was supported by a Creative Australia grant, and she received a scholarship to attend the Canadian Banff Centre’s Winter Writer’s Retreat where she finished the manuscript.
